Content Writing
Its generally said that Content writing is an art. The most creative and powerful method of conveying information and can be used for many purposes. But, nowadays, it has become difficult to compete in the market as there’re masses of people earning money through content. As a result to leapfrog this competition, there’re various challenges that need to be overcome.

Therefore one of the major challenges is to solve the problem of your audience by serving the best content that converts. Sounds back-breaking? Of Course it is. As a result, in this blog, we’re going to discuss ‘how to write content that converts.’ But let’s first understand the main goal of content writing and some major points before writing content.

Goal of Content Writing

Content That Can Convert

To attract and retain customers by creating relevant content is our goal. Therefore it should rather speak to readers by appealing to their needs, problems, and issues. Secondly it must provide them with the information they need in a manner that is easily digestible and in a tone that is friendly, helpful, and not overly promotional. Lastly the content must be customized and effective that blow their mind positively.

To sum up, set three main goals I.e., build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive conversion. So, now you’ve got an idea about the main goal of content writing. Let’s get started to know how to write the best content that converts.

‘When creating content, be the best answer on the internet’ - Andy Crestodina

For instance content writing and running a business have the same factor I.e., knowing the audience before starting. Yes, you read it right, you should first explore a lot I.e., deep research, analyze, and choose the best option. As a result for research, increase readership and then decide what exactly your audience wants and how you can serve them the best.  Meanwhile knowing your audience makes it easier to serve the best out of all.

As a result we can say that to write great content that converts, the writer must target a part of his audience.

Which means, the audience combined with the people of different tastes and preferences, thus, you should first decide what kind of audience you are writing for.

Further, solve their problem and provide them with real value. In this way, readers will be attracted to your content and will remember you if they need any solution in the future as well.

Write an effective headline (aka title) that makes them curious to read. Since

‘It's all in the headline’.

Therefore, start with a unique, attentive, and informative headline that piques your audience’s interest, then what, you’ve already won half of the battle.

Further choose what kind of content suits them most. For example, if you’re writing an article, first decide the topic and audience, choose the type of article (how-to, listicles, or informative), frame the best headline, and then go with the flow. Meanwhile remember, your headline is the first thing that the audience interacts with most. Therefore your headline makes them decide whether to read it or not.

For instance if you’ve already created some headlines and have confusion about which one is best, you can use any headline analyzing tool from which you can get the score of your headlines. Therefore voila, the highest scorer will be the best one.

To sum up, the headline plays an important role in conversion.

Therefore there’re some ingredients that you can use while creating a headline;

  1. Firstly use emotional words in your headline. For example attractive, helpful, best, cost, time, save, etc. These made your headline eye-catching and clickable.
  2. Further try listicles, ‘Top 10 services of WordPress that saves your cost’. This headline has of course high chances of clicks as it helps your audience save their cost.
  3. Furthermore use simple words but make your headline creative with them e.g., Technovation is a word, the short form of technology and innovation. But sometimes creativity might go wrong. For instance avoid making words from your own or words that are difficult to understand. This may cause difficulty to understand what you’ve written. Also, this might cause them to get distracted by repeatedly searching for the words you use.

To sum up, simplicity is best of all. Therefore always create a clickbait headline that captures the audience’s eyes towards your content.

Further you must take care to properly structure the content.

If you’re confused about how to start, make a rough structure. Furthermore note down the points you want to add to your content, and then write content according to the research.

Meanwhile you can try to go unique and write some personalized content that piques their interest. Uniqueness beat everything. As a result, readers will remember your content.

To sum up, it provides the reader with a sense of completion and makes sure they understand what you’re trying to say.

Meanwhile this is one of the most effective ways to write content that attracts traffic.

Therefore write irresistible content that helps hook your readers. For instance, you can frame a story (not like novels) as per your content structure and then start writing.

Meanwhile one of the best ways is to include some real-life examples in your content. As a result, readers will understand the fact behind what you’ve written and what you’re trying to say.

Meanwhile another way is to include quotes in your content. Therefore support is added to your content to mention that if a big-name figure believes what you’re saying.

As a result readers will see that you have authority on the subject and thus readers will be more willing to read your content. To sum up, you’ll get more shares with your storytelling.

Only writing informational content is not enough, you’ve got to engage your audience and entertain them in different ways.

For this, you can add some facts and figures to your content. As a result, you can build an argument, provide a statement, and therefore, support the idea.

Furthermore, stuffing high-ranked keywords, images, pdf (if the content is large in size), reports, infographics, videos, trends and news, case studies, etc. will enhance your content’s readability and authority.

You must avoid asking multiple questions or links in your content.

If you want to add links to your content, try not to exceed the limit (maximum 4) as much promotion might go wrong, and thus distract your readers.

Also, try to use some idioms, and special jargon but limit your creativity when using any special sentence, words, or even example. It means avoid using complicated vocabulary that distracts the readers from understanding the point.

Further don’t ever copy the content, if done so, it’ll entertain only some facts and figures, quotes, or anything that have the right to copy but not the words of others.

For instance always try to go with an easy way to educate your readers and thus solve their problems that others are unable to do.

Conclusion

According to research, 60% of marketers create at least one piece of content each day. As a result this is enough to depict how to enhance the performance and become a great writer.

To Sum up, following the above-mentioned guidelines, you too can be a great writer who can write jaw-dropping content that helps others and thus results in conversion. Happy writing😋
